Prepare to barter. Come along to The Marksman with your goods and services and try your hand at bartering. See if you can get a beer out of us.

We do have a guide list to help you begin your barter offer  - “The Landlady’s Fancy”. This list is dynamic, changing frequently as we receive barter offers of goods and/or services by email almost every day. Feel free to try bartering for a beer with things off the list, but please remember that this is not an “everybody wins type of game”, nor is it a direct exchange based on the stated £ value. We have been known to refuse offers. Barter relies on demand and perceived value on both parts, as well as trust. It is an experience that transcends money exchange as we know it. Above all, we think nice people are cool.
